Nature writes, gardeners edit
The Chase Garden stands out as a stunning illustration of the use of
Pacific northwest native plants. All of the plants on the following list
can be found in the garden. Many inhabit the woods but others can be
found mingled with non-natives throughout the garden. Their ability to
adapt to a variety of situations shows that you don't have to have a
forest to grow native plants. As Ione once said, "natives are often the
most beautiful".
