Driving Directions

From Tacoma: From I-5 North or South, take Highway 512 East toward Puyallup. From 512, take the Canyon Road Exit (4th Exit) and turn right (South) on Canyon Road. Continue for about 4.1 miles to 176th Street East. At this major intersection, turn left (East) and continue for about 3 miles to Meridian Avenue East. Stay in the right hand lane as you pass a Fred Meyer Store. Turn right (South) onto Meridian. Continue South for 5.6 miles, going through Graham and over a steep hill to 264th Street East. Turn left (East) onto 264th Street East and continue about 3.5 miles. You will cross railroad tracks and Orting-Kapowsin Hwy. Continue on 264th Street East until you begin to drive downhill. Chase Garden driveway will be on the left with 16015 on a tall post. Take the drive to the right and proceed to the house.

From Eatonville: Take Meridian Avenue East (Highway 161) North to 264th Street East. Turn right (East) on 264th Street East and continue about 3.5 miles. You will cross railroad tracks and Orting-Kapowsin Hwy. Continue on 264th Street East until you begin to drive downhill. Chase Garden driveway will be on the left with 16015 on a tall post. Take the drive to the right and proceed to the house.

From Seattle: Take the Valley Freeway (Hwy 167) South from Renton. Continue through the valley to the Sumner/Yakima exit onto Highway 410 East. Take the second exit at Valley Avenue/Orting and turn right onto Hwy 162 to Orting. In Orting you may turn right at a traffic light onto Calistoga. Turn right at the Soldiers’ Home and go up the hill on Orting-Kapowsin Hwy. Go to 264th Street East and turn left (East). Continue on 264th Street East until you begin to drive downhill. Chase Garden driveway will be on the left with 16015 on a tall post. Take the drive to the right and proceed to the house.

Alternate route from Orting:
Continue through Orting on Hwy 162. Continue about 1 mile beyond town to Orville Road (Electron Sign). Turn right onto Orville Road. Go about 5 miles to 264th Street East (Volcano Evacuation Route). Turn right (West) onto 264th Street and go up the hill and around the sharp curve. The entrance to Chase Garden will be on your right with 16015 on a tall post. Take the drive to the right and proceed to the house.

The garden is located in Southeast Pierce County, about 6 miles Southeast of Graham and about 6 miles Southwest of Orting.
